Overview

A road movie documentary about longing for the past, ruins of present and uncertainty about the future.

SYNOPSIS

Ciego de Avila, 2013. In a sort of road movie documentary a crew delves into the realities of the northern lands of a province of Cuba. In the Carro de Puertas, a train with a single wagon, they made this trip along the northern line. Although the crossing is from Moron to Punta Alegre they make a decisive stop halfway in Falla, a town stranded sometime in the early 90s of the twentieth century and even killed by the ravages of the economic crisis. There, between the material and spiritual ruins, the film crew documented the poverty and neglect of several generations of Cubans. This thesis is the same in most of the villages on the island.
